Dr. Cameron Clowser is the owner of Adapt Spine & Performance in Norfolk, VA. His connection to the Hampton Roads community began at Old Dominion University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. He went on to graduate Cum Laude with his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic. During his time there, Dr. Clowser was honored with the Milton W. Garfunkel Award, the college’s highest recognition for excellence in academics, clinical care, and the philosophy of chiropractic, and also received the Clinical Excellence Distinction Award.
Dr. Clowser’s mission is to help patients improve their day-to-day function while equipping them with strategies to manage pain through movement. His goal is to extend the number of years people can stay active and engaged in the activities they love, while building confidence in their ability to live life fully, with as little pain and restriction as possible.
With a special interest in working with athletes, Dr. Clowser provides care that spans rehabilitation, injury risk management, and sports performance optimization.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Clowser practices what he preaches, training in the gym to build long-term resilience through movement and strength. He also enjoys traveling across the U.S. with his wife, Tessa, and cherishing time together outside of work.
